The photos are all copyright protected but if you were on the trip, feel free to use them for personal use. I took many photos during my trips, of which about 20% or less are on the website.
If you want to make prints from the photos, I would be happy to send you high resolution versions - just let me know which ones you want and I can send them to you. I keep all my photos so if you know that a photo is missing from the website, let me know, and I can send it to you.

I try to caption the photos to make it easier both for me and visitors to know where the photo was taken. I don't take many photos of people and have not put many on this website - not everyone wants their adventures made public. The photos.alanmacek.com website is running a modified version of the free Mediawiki software, the same software the runs Wikipedia. It is hosted on my own server running FreeBSD.
